This gathering aims to bring together experts and educators to exchange knowledge on regenerative (material)practices in (bio)labs. Guided by a manifesto developed during the 2025 Compos(t)ing symposium, the session approaches the lab as a space shaped by extractive histories and calls for reducing harm while engaging thoughtfully with unavoidable challenges. Together, participants explore how to put this manifesto into practice. Possible discussion topics include:

- Care as a collective intention

- Staying connected to the envsoil and respecting all living and non-living participants in the lab

- Time awareness, fostering reciprocity through responsible, season- and time-responsive approaches

- Accessibility, by opening facilities, valuing diverse knowledge forms, and supporting inclusive learning
